Boston faces and places...

If you keep showing cool side adventures like that then everyone is going to want to start expediting! Sheesh, some folks never learn (just kidding).
Thanks for the show.
If it doesn't take too much more time, a few more subtitles would be nice, i.e.
"This passed out drunken guy in the flannel vest is really going to be PO'd when he wakes up and finds out his breasts have been enlarged."
Also, why is the cute blonde in the tube top holding her hand to her mouth?
I really liked the sailboat pics, are you a sailor?

Thanks Tom for the comments and your right I need to caption better!
As for the sailing it is now on my "learn to do list" as some of the boats in the Harbor were some of the prettiest I have ever seen.
I would love to have one docked as a residence somewhere...

MrGood, we are up in New Hampshire, tried to find a place, any place to park and catch a trolley yesterday to go to downtown Boston, couldn't find anyplace, for the straight truck so got frustrated and wound up in Lynn Mass on rt 1 and had a nice dinner on the ocean, but glad you mentioned the redline, apparantly there was a place to park? Would have loved to show my driver Quincy Mkt etc. Maybe next time we'll find that place in Cambridge/Watertown you mentioned!

Mr. Good: Excellent slide showing a few good sites in Boston. Lived there all my life and still enjoy walking around. It's one of the few cities that is a "BIG' city in a very "small" area. A few hours and you can see alot of history and most of the sity. I've been fortunate to have traveled around the world, but Boston is still my favorite city. Thanks for showing some of it and continue with slideshows of other great American cities, please. Jack

SHAME ON YOU, Boston is a city, not an EXCUSE. Terry showed and he is even from Boston even maybee before it was incorporated?

Thanx for the walk down memory lane. I was born in Boston and spent most of my youth at or near many of the places shown, before they were so comercialized. I was sworn into the USCG when its New England HQ was in the Custom House, the old tower with the clock in the fotos. I spent my first 5 yrs in the CG on the Boston waterfront. That also was long before it was touristized. It is still my favorite city for all that it has to offer.

Next time anyone is in Boston and wants to take the Duck tour. Look for a purple amphib named "North End Norma" with a viking clad character known as Sven the Viking. That would be Forrest Piravano, a former Roberts Express/FedEx Custom Critical O/O who left expediting for a more lucrative job. Tough credentials required for the job. A Duck driver must have a CDL with bus endorsement, A CG license for a passenger vessel and a Boston livery driver license.

BTW, it's called a duck because of it's old USN/USCG designation DUKW

In the Northeast part of highway 128 in the Woburn area there is a large 24 hour bowling alley. Across the street is a train station(might be the Green line) and you can take that subway train right to downtown.
My youngest son used to attend the Berkley College of Music and when I was in the area I would park the truck there and then go downtown.

Never had any problem with the bowling alley personnel.

Thanks All!!
Boston has always been a intimidation to me..
Long traffic small parking.
We stopped in Cambridge on the 2 west (happened to be right next to a bowling ally with the best pizza in the country!!!) we stayed at the Cambridge Garden Inn an expensive dive 1 block away from the green line going downtown.
Quite unintentional at the get go as we drove by Harvard university and made countless flips getting to the consignee but hey life is an adventure.
I admire or appreciate those who dare to venture but realize adventure is born from within.
Cyn has pushed me to do things I never thought I would ever do as I have her and as a consequence I am the envy of many families.
I beg of you to get out and enjoy,
Create a life that will inspire and if fate puts you in Boston shame on you if you don't embrace the opportunity.

Born Brighton, moved to Wollaston Beach (Quincy) at age 8. Worked as gopher in the Editorial/Photo Dept of Boston Daily Record as a teen. Cape Cod is also our favorite place. Once had a home in Falmouth. Sons live in Harwich and Chatham sister in Yarmouth. We'll be in Hyannis for a week starting in three days where we'll be feasting on Chowdah, Lobstah and Cod Cheeks.

Eastham /Wellfleet /Truro area for me..
My parents had a cottage/house there since I was a kid !!
