I am interested in Bolt Express too, but when I called they said Adam no longer works there and transferred me to someone named Mark. I left a message and have not heared anything back from him.

I looked at them in my recent job change. Adam called me at a bad time and said he would e-mail me some info. It never came. I called and talked to the other guy and he said it would be there that day. Never came.

It doesn't give you a very positive feeling when a company ignores you. Maybe they are shorthanded on office staff or don't have enough freight to support hiring new drivers, I dunno, but if that's the case they could at least have something on their automated phone messages saying "we don't need anymore drivers at this time" or whatever.

I finally got ahold of a lady named Stacie Moss. She said that Bolt requires 2 years of experience. All I have is CDL school so I guess I'm back to looking.

FYI, well I finally figured the whole story out. Yes you r correct Adam no longer works there. Mark is in charge of recruiting new drivers. He states that he can find you an o/o to work for if you dont have your own truck, but as everyone says here be very careful of doing this. It is my contention that alot of o/o work on a shoestring budget themselves(buyer beware) so to speak so one has to be careful or you could end up broke in Des Moines Iowa with six bux left on your Com Data. As for Bolt I really dont want to slam them as I know that is unaceptable in this forum however I was trying to get ahold of Mark for almost three weeks with no success. So for all of you out there who so desire to get into expediting, here is what I did. I posted my own classified and found a really nice guy to work for. I leave him confidential but I had him checked out and it seems he is on the level. But still buyer beware. Thanks to all who replied, Dave...........

Mark has actually called me 3 times since I first expressed an interest in driving for Bolt. He invited me visit the facility and take a look around.

I opted for a company a little closer to home, but if things don't work out here I will definitely be talking with Mark again.

I have been toting Bolt Express on this forum for quite awhile.
And i still will.I don't know why they are not getting back to
you on these matters.I just found out the other day that Adam
had left them.was sorry to hear it.He is the one who hooked me
up with my O/O.And i have never been happier.
.45 per loaded mile
.50 per loaded mile if over 1500 miles per week
all fuel and tolls and repairs paid by O/O

Mike, What is Bolt's pay to the truck for a D-Unit?
Do you know if they will hire someone with only CDL school as experience?

thanks

Phat,

You are going to have to go through a Fleet Owner for Bolt Express if you don't own a truck.

I would also suggest posting a "Driver Available" classified with your information and see what kind of offers you get.

Best wishes.

Lawrence,

Hi guys and gals,

Adam Scuralli here! Yes, Bolt and I decided to part ways yet I am still in the loop. I've been running loads on the side team with my father. :)

Actually looking for a new trucking company to work for. If you here of any positions available...please...send me an e-mail to:

[email protected]

As for Bolt....great company...it's just that the recruiting department is or atleast was a little short staffed so hang tight and continue to call them...they will get a hold of you sooner or later :)

Thanks again,
Adam
