More specific azz dandruff grrrhh
I spend alot of money on sexy drawers (bicycle type in dark colors) and every darn time it gets cold I see dandruff ick ick ick.
I use Irish spring (have for years) is that the problem??
Cyn took me to Bath and Body for a louffa and bottle of Chamomille but alas I still have the problem although I smell like flowers (haven't had a hotflash).
Anyway back on topic what is best for dry scaley skin???
Stuffs gross.

Lotion comes to mind. But depending on the material, your drawers might slide right off. :D

Yeah if they are silk they might not hold up to well. I'd suggest lining them with a 20 grain sandpaper...just kidding. :p

Go to a wholesaler, order 5 gallons of lubiderm (it does come in 5 gallon buckets) and wipe yourself down twice daily with it and then wipe it off - this should solve any problems you have.

Although the sand paper thong would help with the rectal itch I've heard some complainig of, and your fingers wouldn't stink afterward.

Now that we all know about your sexy drawers and your dander problem, try using Jergen's lotion for extra dry skin. Your drawers should stay put and it will do wonders for the dry skin.

Mike,
Stop using Irish Spring, it's one of the harshest soaps you can use. Dermatologist told me that Dove unscented Sensitive Skin is the mildest, and won't dry you out. Also, Lubriderm or Aveeno lotion...and drink LOTS of water.
Oh yeah, and suspenders might keep your drawers up :+

The kind of soap you use isn't the problem; however, the problem is your skin is way too dry.

Try using baby oil with your bath or shower as the solution.

At this time of the year there are two benefits to this solution:

-Prevents your skin from drying out and thus making you irritable.

-You will notice that you are not as cold.

Baby oil gets used a lot around here during the winter as an extra measure to keep warm, because I believe that keeping warm starts with the skin.

Oh Gawd... I sound like a spokesperson for a cosmetics company! :+

Ok guys and gals thanks for the responses...
Currently Cyn is giving me an baby oil enema while I scrub hard with Lubriderm and a louffa I have found new use for Jergens but that is another topic for single drivers.
PT2 Cynthia is ex foliating my cheeks while I watch Leslie Nielson ask a young man "Bobby have you ever seen a grown man naked" (loved Airplane) but it is getting cold here again, shrinkage and feminine posture have me at a disadvantage.
Good news I am not flaking!
Love you guys

Mike, i don't speak Jive but get some Eucerin. It comes in a large white plastic jar. It is non-greasy.

Irish Spring: Manly yes, but it will dry your skin out.

Now get back to watching Airplane. Man did I pick the wrong week to quit sniffing glue.

I picked the wrong week to stop smoking, and I don't speak jive either - but I do know something about winter dry skin - it doesn't just flake, it itches! I like Eucerin lotion mixed with Neutrogena sesame oil, it's not as slippery as baby oil, and works well. Especially important is to apply it right after showering, while skin is still damp. It smells good, too. ;)

This thread has got to be the poster child for TMI. It certainly couldn't be that any of us has too much time on our hands. Nah, no way could that ever happen.
