Read a story online from my St Louis tv station ksdk.com about the signs of highway serial killing saying that some 459 bodies found along highways in the last 40 years in 48 states mostly near rest areas and truck stops could be work of serial killer or killers and the FBI is tracking 200 people of interest/suspects all truck drivers the victims mostly hookers though some have been stranded female drivers. The story also mentions the crime at some truck stops with the drugs, hookers, theft, etc

This is where they got the idea for that movie joy ride or what ever its called with that Rusty nail truck driver in the peterbuilt.

I agree sometimes I wonder about the people I see hanging around the truck stops. And I just can't believe my eyes at some of the drivers insane !

from FBI stats...at any given time there are about 125 active serial killers at work in the U.S.! Pause for thought

I hadn't seen that news yet but it is indeed sad statistics. It is also a shame that the media feels the need to make a point of it possibly being persons driving a truck. I won't call them truckdrivers at all because I don't want to disrespect those that really are truckdrivers. It's truly a sad statement on some fringe parts of the industry.

Why do truckers get blamed for everything? It's ridiculous! I think the real serial killer ring is dumpoing bodies in rest ares to get truckers in trouble. Most truck drivers are too fat, lazy, and unmotivated to kill someone. They are hanging around truck stops eating all you can eat dinner buffets and playing deer hunting video games in the drivers lounge!! lol.
