Yes he said it on his radio show when addressing the sponsors that left. He basically said he couldn't advertise for them and then speak his mind about the whole Government Motors takeover/bailout and be true to his listeners.

I believe he said that GM wanted to advertise on his show, but he refused their offer.
He also refused an offer from a company to resume advertising on his show after they asked to stop advertising on his show last week. Be carefull what you ask for.

That's true. A few days ago I said I'd do a job for $xxx thinking they'd never pay that much for it and darn if they didn't call back in a few minutes with that money. Out into the rush hour I went.
