What's the best way to carry a bike? Does anyone have pictures of their bikes mounted on their trucks? I found an archive that noted d-hooks, but I wonder how else to do it, especially for two bikes...

Thanks,

I have a 42" x 8' loft in the nose, that sits about 20" below the ceiling. I carry the mtn. bike there, plus blankets and some wood blocks. Two load bars hold it up, and two pieces of 4x4 brackets from Home Depot hold the 5/8ths plywood piece in place with carriage bolts and wing nuts. The whole thing can come down in about 15 minutes, put the board against the front wall, and tuck the bike/blankets in the back of the load at the end.
If I had to, the bike can go into the sleeper if necessary...
