Best mattress?

What is the best mattress for sleeping while the truck is bouncing down the road. Foam? Interspring? I have no clue.

Thanks,

We have an 11" memory foam mattress on springs. We had the mattress made for the truck with 4" of memory foam on the spring frame at a Verlo store in Saint Louis. That put a stop to all of our bouncing while sleeping and finally enabled us to get sleep while going down the road. The Verlo store will custom make the mattress to fit your needs.

I found that the Verlo mattress was relatively inexpensive compared to getting no sleep while bouncing down the road.

I sleep on an air mattress with a eggshell foam on top of it, and a down filled mattress cover best sleep I've ever had. I'm a single driver so it better not be moving down the road while I'm sleeping but it is the most comfortable, even changed my mattress @ home to same cause can't sleep on springs ever.

I have a cargo van and I took a trundle bed left over from when the kids were small, cut all the unneeded metal away and left two legs that fold away, each 10 inches long and bolted it to the wheel well so it folds up while I have freight on board. Bought a twin Serta matress at Sams for $99 and it's as good as my bed at home, very comfortable.

Are you running in a short wheel based van or is that a loooong mattress?

Cargo van with a camping mattress and down filled mummy bag. Whole thing rolls up tight and hangs on the wall behind my driver seat above the portable latrine. I sleep crossways behind the seats. In the summer I sleep outside in a hammock with the same sleeping bag.

We have a Sleep Dog made for our bed. Give them the size of your bed and they will make you a Memory Foam Mattress.
The foam is a much better choice for a truck as it dampens the vibration that would normally be transmitted thru the springs in a regular matreess. Much better sleep when moving.
