Best Expediting truck every Built

Glen and his wife saved for years to build that truck. The look of the truck was Great!! I haven't seen a truck built like that since that truck was built. I'm waiting to see who will built the next great truck. All the trucks being built now are all the same. The Same color same look and so on.

I think "The L'il Deuce Coupe" was awesome, and my heart goes out to anyone who works so hard to attain their dream, only to lose it, through no fault of their own. You may think that hauling freight is all we should do, you may even think the subject "boring" - but the Rices were an inspiration to countless people, and I thank David Mayfield for posting the photo.

i agree most trucks do look alike thats why when we built ours we did it up a little different. have not seen one the same yet.

This a cool truck that my Uncleand his Partner has for there Race car team. I told them if they ever sell this I want it. so I can make it into a Cr unit.

I saw a Landstar truck that was pretty close to that the other day. In a small TS north of Laredo. I didn't get a close look, as I was backing in along side to catch a much needed nap. It was a FTL Columbia, with what seemed to be an RV-type body. It had a small attic, like the truck above, and no seperate sleeper, just the one-piece body. Unless this was Landstar's race team or something, I think a Class 8 RV was converted to haul freight.

The Rice's truck was quite a piece of engineering and artistic achievement. It had all the comforts of home and was more than a capable C truck. Many of us enjoyed and now miss the sight of the Li'l Deuce Coupe, but more importantly, we miss the pleasure of Glen and Janice's involvement in expediting and Glen's contribution to the EO forum. Rene' and I wish them a speedy return to a healthy normalcy

I've still never seen anything like it, short of a pure RV. It's fine if some don't like it, hey, to each their own. One person wants to maximize freight space, others want comfort. As long as the truck hauls what their company wants/needs them to haul, who cares? If your company pays you good to haul C freight, why not be comfortable? Let's remember this was a White Glove Unit (obviously)
