Actually, I agree. I'm a fan of 50-70. 80 is warm enough that the sun will warm up the van too much.

Sunshine,cloudy day so far, should be in mid 50's. We are in Albuquerque, NM on our way to Lake Forest, CA. Delivery scheduled for Wed. morn at 8:00am est. We will arrive tonight about 11pm or 12am hopefully unload in morning. We hope to catch some sun rays, say hi to a friend who lives there and be back on road by Wed. We will see if things go according to plan. Of course we are wanting to stay West and or South in order to out of the weather. I personally have had enough bad weather driving this past month.

Driving was good this morning, nothing out of the ordinary.

Got the car stuck at the foot of the driveway thanks to the plow guy.

Got cut off several times by idiots on cell phones.

Saw a car completely covered in snow except for a 4 inch hole in the windshield - it is the new Detroit thing Welcome to the D, we may not see you so get out of our way.

I got to be a witness for an accident that happened behind me by a gravel hauler who wasn't just speeding but I understood knocked several people off the road during his trip up from Toledo. I know he got a speeding and reckless driving ticket and they were getting ready to do a Level I on him and his truck. The cop said he is OOS because of the reckless driving ticket and they are going to tow the truck.

Do yourself a favor and have lunch at The Hat. Very good sandwiches and huge portions at good prices. If you want a really good steak, stick around till dinner time and feast at the Trabuco Oaks steak house. Well known for excellent quality beef.
