Be extra careful today and tomorrow if you are coming into Michigan. The weather is dicey. It is snowing now, is going to switch over to freezing rain later then snow some more tomorrow. I don't know about the interstates right now but secondary roads are very slick.

Just got to Grande Rapids and the interstates are dangerous with lots of cars in the ditch. There is at least 5 inches of snow now in the parking lot near my destination . I doubt if the factory Im going to will open, but they might. I drove up early from Toledo and it was getting bad about 1pm from there, so Im warm and got coffee and the Mr. Heater is on.

The low pressure system is coming up from Indiana. We are experiencing the "wrap around" winds off the front side of the low as it passes south of us. That gives us an east wind. It kinda works like a NorEaster off the coast.

The Weather Channel is reporting a 50 car pile up on I94 on the western side of Michigan. Still freezing rain around here. A second low pressure system right on the tail of the first. MDOT is saying to stay off the roads
