Batteries tested, elec. system checks ok, alt.etc. ok, all cca on batteries good, but when i sit two or three hours truck drains just below starting ability. when i run rigmaster it sometimes keeps up, other times shuts down due to charging failure or low voltage. even when i turn everything off, inverter etc. i still have a drain...any thoughts?? it never used to do this. frank

Put an induction amp meter on the positive battery cable. This will show you if you have a current drain on the batteries. If there is no drain then you have a battery problem that did not show up in testing. did you do a load test? However I am not sure an induction amp meter will work on a DC circuit. Jerry

How old are the batteries?

I had a set that checked good but it was getting so bad that I could not leave the inverter on, let alone a load on it. I ended up having them checked with something more than what they have in the shops and one battery was bad so all were replaced.

These batteries were three years old.

You either have bad batteries and/or a load in the electrical system that is draining them. How were the batteries and electrical system checked?

Ditto Greg. I just replaced my batteries. A few weeks ago they were load tested and I was told they were fine. I decided the test was wrong and replaced them anyway. They were, indeed, bad.
