Battery Bank Question

I've used the search function and found a lot of info concerning power in my Sprinter (mostly from turtle lol). My question is this, does anyone know of a good guide to setting up a battery bank to run an invertor with said setup being charged by the alternator without damaging my starting battery? Also any suggestions on a starting place to get batteries would be helpful as well.

Not trying to be mean, but you need to search and read some more. Turtle has explained everything your asking about at length in a couple threads. I couldn't repeat it if you held a gun to my head...lol.
