Obama flashed some anger at his rally in Wisconsin Monday.

(CNN) – Those following President Obama's prepared remarks during a speech in Milwaukee, Wisconsin Monday were thrown a bit of a curveball when it came to a description of his critics:

"Some powerful interests who had been dominating the agenda in Washington for a very long time and they're not always happy with me. They talk about me like a dog. That's not in my prepared remarks, but it's true," he told a crowd largely consisting of union members.

The line was a rare departure from a president who normally sticks close to the text of his speech and may forecast a more aggressive tone on the part of Obama as the midterms approach.

The address is the first of two speeches this week in which Obama will try and frame his administration's response to the recession, less than two months ahead of midterm elections where Democratic majorities in the House and Senate are on the ropes.

His admission that the "dog" comment was off script serves as another example (there's been plenty) of how the real person pokes through the facade when he's feeling under pressure.

What the heck does he think he signed on for? Did he really think the whole country was going to bow down and faint like so many of the loons did during the campaign? They won't talk about me the way they did the others because, after all, I am ME! LOL

Yep, he lacks dignity and unfortunately it isn't something someone else can give him. Just reminds me of something Dad used to say "you can't polish a turd".

Well, he SHOULD have known that most everyone that voted against him had little use for him. I think that he thought that since, at least in his mind, that he is our new lord and god, that we would all just accept his benevolence and fall down and adore him. WELL, he was WAY WRONG!!! VOTE THE BUM OUT!!

Obama says, " many people talk about me like a dog." Former Senator Fred Thompson says it's because Obama keeps treating this country like it is a fire hydrant.
