Does the D.O.T. allow tractor trailers to use backup camera's?

I can't see any reason why they wouldn't let you use one it makes it safer to back up

Just bought a YADA backup camera with night vision and a 5" screen from Costco for $100.

Rampage Products just came out with a pretty slick backup camera that is used as a wifi hot spot which allows you to use your iphone , ipad, or android device as your monitor. I was interested until I read about battery life. I don't want to have to pull it down and recharge it every day.

Seems like decent quality. Prefer mirrors but it covers spots where mirrors don't spot. Regularily $120 but $100 this month specials.

YADA uses the starting battery system for power. I hooked it into the reverse circuit s it only works when in reverse. I guess you could hook it into your running lights. It is wire less. I am using it on my Town Car but it could work anywhere.
