That is because it is big business. Lawyers make a LOT of money off drunk driving. A very large percentage of lawmakers are lawyers. They look out after their own. It is my belief that being a lawyer and a lawmaker is a conflict of interest.

I'll tell ya what....way back when HC in Ontario was getting really stupid...cutting Dr's and nurses pay driving them to leave and come down here......Doctors finally got involved in politics and got elected ...HC started to change....Private clinics were allowed and the outflow of staff almost stopped...waiting times shorten...Things came closer back to center... the doctors were enough to change the political landscape.... It goes to show...."The People" MUST get involved to stop the insanity!
FAR too many on the take down here. They don't WANT it to change, their gravy train would dry up. They won't vote out anyone who would remover or curtail their bennies. Little chance of a "normal" person getting elected, the money mongers fight them.
Center? No one here knows what that is. The Law of the Land is totally ignored. That is the result of the public schools and the welfare state. The government has finally achieved it's goals.
I think people will go to the edge...and they'll see the end/future...they are not there yet...they are the dreamers, the ones that think they can have everything and not pay some kind of price...the day will come....maybe not in your time...but it will come...
You have far more faith than I. They are ruining people's lives today, and don't give a flip. They have no soul.
If you have no faith, there is no future....Life is too short to be worried about every little thing politically...
What is taking place is not "little things" politically. Lives are being destroyed. Freedoms denied. Rights taken. The very basis of what our Country was founded on destroyed. It's not "little". There is no good future for this Country if things continue down this line. A People that is WILLING to give up freedom is doomed. When they are willing to destroy other's lives to do it, they are evil.
EVERYTHING that I enjoy about my life is being taken from me, one step at a time. I will not give them up. There is not one tiny corner of my life that is not being negatively impacted now. Not one. Every dream I had, gone. Every pleasure, being regulated out of existence. Every freedom, denied. Step by step, with each passing day. This process started a LONG time ago and is getting stronger with each new law passed.
My only hope is to hang on to a little of it while I can. That is not going to be for long.
