Who are you again? Oh yeah. Someone who has 68 posts and seems to want to disrupt the foundation of our house (by ours, I'm speaking as a member, not a mod, whose been here a number of years, and has helped many ppl, and have stated my opinion, whether cheered or booed, very vividly), by wanting this to be a "freedom of speech" site. And when the members LOUDLY pronounce their disagreement with your agenda, you throw a weak argument to the contrary by tattling "well they did it".
Very few things on here are agreed by all. Some ppl are so PC, they hardly agree with anything. Some ppl are so defensive, they take compliments the wrong way. I see no reason to defend myself for a passing comment that someone may or may not take as offensive; but I will anyways. What Wallytrucker stated was an issue that he thought was valid. It was not a blanket statement about all "turbine" wearing ppl. It was a statement about what Wally may deem as a majority of "turbine" wearing truckers, and their professional courtesies, or lack thereof. I made light of it by paraphrasing a skit. The same could be said about illegal alien discussions. The majority of us are not against Mexicans... only the ones here to take good paying jobs, and suckling on the teet of OUR government.
Members rarely get trounced on here for saying one bad thing. Usually, it's a culmination of many many posts, designed to get on the nerves of a few members. I'll admit, I've been trounced; and I've learned my lesson. But I am who I am. All I can do is change my approach. Either my message stays the same, or I decide not to respond, because I know I'll hear about it. I am a mod, and I am held to a higher standard. It doesn't mean I'm a zombie, and don't make mistakes. And I don't see a problem with what I posted. Like I said, if it's seen as blatant, I'll hear about it.
