Aurora, C0 "J" and the oxymoron

The title of this thread is sort of, kind of, in a round about way some kind of an "oxymoron". All of this beauty around while sitting on a slab of asphalt viewing gas pumps and semi's ??

I've ask a person or two where I can make a short (very short) run to sit beside a stream, look at the mountains, take a hike or something along those lines. In short, currently not happenin'. Probably be here a couple of days ....... any of you "schooled" expediters got a suggestion ???

The preference is to be outdoors "off the beaten path". Clint Eastwood once said "a man's got to know his limitiations". I'd say at one time he must have driven a yellow Penske Cube .........

So yeah, color and d/h plays into the equation. Maybe it's time to blow the dust off my wallet ......

When we KNOW that we have an entire weekend off, like when predispatched, we often rent a car to give us the freedom to explore that our straight truck and electronic babies sitters don't allow.

Go west on 70 thru town to golden. Up the draw there . Gold pan on clear creek then to central city historic district and casinos. Not too far.
