Looks like I'll be cleaning up the yard today....that wind was horrific yesterday. Looks like a big branch of the Russian olive is laying in the back yard and lots of other debris. Not to mention all the leaves on the deck..

51 here....almost but not quite

My weekly goal is about 1500 nice easy pace....2,000 if you break it down isn't that bad....it translate into 4 - 500 mile runs which works out to 4 - 10 hour days.....BUT it doesn't quite work out that neat in real life!

Sounds like my plan exactly. This week is over plan. When this load is dropped I will pass 3,000 for the week

Have another week like that and you'll have your monthly goal and you can have the next 2 weeks off with pay so to speak....in theory....LOL

That would be next week for the move to NJ.

QUESTION 4 ALL: 3 skid load, 3500#, 500 miles straight up I81. That would be about 400 over GVW. Take it or pass?

Last I heard when drove a TT, fine is $1 per pound of additional excess weights.
Fines depend on state the offense occurred( or was caught in). Each state sets their own rates for overweight fines.
Each state also sets the rules for how to handle an overweight vehicle. (i.e pay fine, remove excess weight, etc.)
The larger issue is the safety of the vehicle hauling an overweight load.

You didn't miss a thing....:) But gained the opportunity to have a million mile van like myself coming up here soon...
That's awesome OVM. I can recall what Wayne said when I inquired about how many miles can I put on mine.
He mentioned a Sprinter Customer of his (gave no name-it turned out to be you) who had 900+K.
OH, MAN, I FELT SUCH RELIEF! I know I take Proper, Timely Care of mine...but I know, Ya never know.
Yep, Longevity....that's what's important to me. Making it to my Goal, my Plan. Babying this thing.
They'll offer you whatever you'll take.
They can view your Max weight, but it's THE LOAD and $ that matters the most.
It's up to you to Protect the workings of your vehicle and run Legally, Safely for yourself and those driving around you.
That's what I've witnessed and how I feel. What they taught us in Truck Driving School...YOU protect all those driving around you as if they were your Loved Ones. My protective bubble, distance between and speed.
I want my Sprinter to last me a good 8 years minimum.
It's an investment in my eyes...$45+ K.
Bless my Older Sister's Heart as she surprised the heck outa me after her death.
She helped me Pay it off. Unexpected. Gracious.
I'm glad she and my folks don't have to worry about me.
They would. They shouldn't.

Well looks like tomorrow I will be a car hauler...snowbird demands are picking up and will be running from NY to Ft Myers, FL back and forth for the foreseeable future. Won't miss the sitting and waiting, although they ran me over 3,700 loaded miles my last week there. Here's to a good future and safe drives for everyone.
