Got a load from Boston mass to el paso cancelled after an hr of waiting. What a shame 2421 loaded miles would of made a very great end of a good week already.

We had a similar experience today, darn it all.

Had delivery in Denver, CO today we delivered 5 hours early. We were predispatched for a pick up going back to Livonia, MI. We were supposed to pick up at 6pm or asap. We got there at 1pm. We were told the load had been picked up by another carrier. So it became a Dry Run. Darn it all!
We were looking forward to being home for a day and it was going to be a terrific end to an already great week.
Oh well dispatch will get us something different, soon.

Sitting in Kingdom City, MO at the Bugtel 6. Hope for a load today, if not guess I'll be here til Monday. If nothing by then I'm Dhin up to Chitown. Not a bad motel tho. New facility and Indoor pool. It just sucks that I don't get all the channels. Guess it's USA and NCIS. LOL

LOL, nahhh typing and spelling on these keyboards (typewriters back in my "basic business class in highschool) never was a strong suit of mine...but let me tell you, the frickin mess i have of a load right now has me ready to get a few...no ones fault in particular. so ill deal with it in my way in my time....
