Got a load out of San Antonio on Wednesday night that dropped on Friday morning...I went out to my grandpas in Crossville, TN and as soon as I turned onto the road he lived on dispatch called wanting us to run to Boca Raton, FL....said FUGETABOUTIT....Not dealing with a hurricane that's for sure. Got to be in Buchanan, MI by Monday afternoon for an oil change. I'll probably have to DH there since nothing is moving up that way outta here.

Speaking of Load-1, I'm been sitting at the Evansville J since yesterday, and counted no fewer than 5 Load-1 trucks. That's a lot of hot air!

I pulled into that "J" Friday afternoon...was loaded out of there in less then 24 hours....waiting to deliver in Chicago Heights later this afternoon then will probably DH home, just to do it....
Looks like I'll be off the road for a few weeks....got me a JOB!! On the road crew no less....clipboard holder by the sounds of it.....recording inbound weight of trucks....tonnage....

Delivered in NC this morning. Sitting at the Petro in Mebane. Pick up near here to morrow heading for TN.
Got out of Fargo ND in less then 14 hours. Picking up Tuesday morning in Watertown SD, about 130 miles south of Fargo and running 1,100 miles to Stratford ON. That is one of my best honey holes. Hopefully get load back toaybe Iowa, then home for the holiday weekend.
And people don't wait in Fargo usually, scared cats lol

chattanooga to huntsville,al. to memphis to atlanta on wed. morn. took some mini's with less loaded miles to get to atlanta on wed. morn. instead of taking a load to conn. that delivered thur. morn. hoping the stategery works out. we have done well out of atlanta.
They are really not so nice loads when any 1 carrier sends so many into one area in a short time span....while on the surface they appear good, but the destination point really clogs up...especially if they can not acquire enough loads to get people out..paid. And Nashville area is so competitive.
What you can't move somewhere after you drop. You drop and move plenty if times.
