Dad's all juiced up and doing good....Mom's a little better...They are all set up, as far as I can see, they shouldn't need anything for a while. I'm in service, and ready to go.Everything done on the van that I wanted to do. Hoping for a decent load to salvage out this week. And get caught back up.All ready for the winter, seeing as how I don't think I will be home until Christmas.

Happy to hear your parents are doing well.

We did run the new people through training for 2 to 3 weeks till we started to set them free. Sometimes you just have to take the short term pain and have them fall down a few times till they can run. With I think ten of them added it was quite a challenge. I think a few weeks from now we will hopefully start seeing a real difference. We have added dispatchers, dedicated bidders and customer service people. Now we are just running out of space in the building and the parking lot.

Time to open that office up in the south?

Thank you, Mr.Wolfeman. Much appreciated. I'm gonna vent here.I know it won't do any good, but, .....I have 2 sisters, and one out of 2 brothers that live within a 10 mile radius of Mom and Dad's, and all work 9-5 jobs. Last time any of them came by to check on the parents? 2 months.Absolutely no excuse. The sister got a royal asse ripping from me tonight outside. Guess I won't be invited to her Christmas party this year...

Anyway, I hope you're feeling better as well.Hang in there.Ever thought about going to one of those Spa's and getting a massage? My relatives in NYC call it a "spritz" and it does do wonders for the muscles, joints, etc. We owe it to ourselves to pamper ourselves once in a while.

On a different note, Dad and I were sitting on the front porch talking, and he told me how surprised he is that dispatch hasn't called me once since being out of service.I told him that is respect. He reminded me of how a company I used to be leased to called me on Thanksgiving while sitting at the table, out of service.

If they do the keyhole surgery its not a major surgery. I had mine done a few years ago and Nick a few years before that. It is a pretty simple.procedure, with a few days of recovery time.

As far as the convoy goes, you can check out greatlakesconvoy.com for the date, time, location, and.cost of the convoy. You can also see pictures.from last years to see.how the trucks were.decorated.

The gallbladder does cause a lot of pain, but as soon as she is out of surgery the pain from that is gone. Nick was out of the hospital a day after, and myself two, because I had complications. It takes a week or so to start moving around normally, and the follow up appointment . Didn't even require stitches, just surgical grade super glue to close the holes, which are three to four of them about as big around as a pencil.
