btw..our insurance guy's communications skills really suck.....not returned ANY of my calls as I sit here in the dark if anything is being done to get an adjuster out to see my van....
Ken, I had the same problem with a windshield replacement...since April 1st and still getting bills in the mail..He was hard to get in touch with...I had to get help from Bill in safety...I will be making a call in the morning and going to another company..

actually YES...The insurance guy called me at 7 am this morning....he is working on it...to get an adjuster to me.....forward progress....
appears there was a miscommunication yesterday and he apologized for not calling me...
IF the adjuster sees it today..and parts get ordered....I am still looking the middle of next week to get rolling...
I think the issue may be whether they decide to write it off rather than repair.

Maybe offer to buy Nick and Jenny's Sprinter from them, and put you're engine in it.As close to a new 5cyl Sprinter as you can get.Just a thought.
