Sitting here at home recovering from a bout with the fanny flu. Shirley came down with it Saturday and it hit me early Monday morning. Fortunately, we have two bathrooms. It stopped me from coming to Taylor as planned, but given the events of yesterday, it worked out for the best.

Had a ST driver quit last week to go into another owner's sprinter. Was working with Brian on getting a replacement when my problem child overheated again and ended up at DRS. Putting the driver from that ST into the ST that was open. Beki at DRS has really taken the lead on this ongoing problem. She is worth her weight in gold.

Also was fighting with Pilot on the damage done to one of my ST's by their trash truck back in June. I submitted the estimates, loss of use, etc. The guy in risk management wanted to haggle and pay less. This isn't Pawn Stars, I gave him the actual figures. Finally had to involve my insurance agent. That was resolved this morning when I received paperwork for the total amount. Thanks to John at CIS Insurance for solving the problem.

So, I can't catch a ride to Taylor until later in the week. Hope to catch up with some of you then.

Sorry to hear about youre "Fanny Flu" problem.Remember, Immodium AD works wonders...always wondered how such a small pill can do so much..never leave home without them..

And, if you see I happen to be in youre area at time of needing the ride, let me know, and I'll get you there.

Best of luck to ya!

Immodiums actually been impossible to find since January. I had been told by a pharmacist it was pulled for formulation errors :/

They never worked on me for some reason. Maybe I need the "industrial strength" version.

Plan is now to be up at the yard Thursday. Thanks for the offer though. Hope to catch up with you there.:)

I had heard they were hard to find. I seem to remember a news story about it, but I don't remember the reason. Store brands may still be available.

Good idea!!! If you run out of immodium before I run into the problem again, let me know what brand of glue you use.:D:D

Loctite super-77.It will stop a fly in mid-air...lol..

On a separate note, I took the air freshner dispenser that I had in my storage unit that came from my old truck, and put it in this van....Got a can of the air fresner to put in it, named "fresh linen".....now, my van smells like I have 14 million Bounce dryer sheets in it..not exactly the scent I was hoping to get...I need to ask John what fragrance he has in the mens room, and if I can get a couple of cans from him..now, that is a nice smell....:D

Believe it or not, I am pretty sure it is fresh linen as well. I can check, we had some others from a mixed box they sent us one time.

Picked yesterday in High Point, NC to Sparta, Mi. Delivered 0430. Got a real hot one in Holland at 1130 to Warren. Del 1430.

They sure had a surprise look on their face when I showed up an hour early. They were real happy. Pulled parts out of the box while still on the van!

At the yard. Washed the van, turned in paperwork and now some grub at Isis.

Head back to the yard for a nice hot shower and sleep.

Steve, I think your 2 sprinters are here. Are those gas or diesel generators on top?

Ya'll have fun.

One is mine, the other is Scott. The generators are Kubota diesels.

Planning on being at the yard tomorrow afternoon if you're still around.

Got an extremey Hot load picking up 3 miles away from where we were (our last drop off point's parking lot) in Elk Grove Village, Il. going to Huntington, IN. Doesn't pay as well as Chef's obviously but it gets us out of the parking lot and the Chicago area.

Deliver tonight at 9pm, hopefully we can get a nice load out of there. We really need a great paying one.

Wow, major bummer on the fuel problem. Hope you don't end rebuilding the whole fuel system.

It does get hot in Texas, but hey, its a "dry" heat! Lol
Corsicana has grow so much since I've been there.

Yea, I dont think the scent was that of a dryer sheet..more of a womans perfume scent, I thought...all I know is, I didnt want to leave the bathroom, it smelled so good..:D

Decided to relocate to St Louis area, after asking dispatch for their advice...I was thinking Iowa myself, but said St.Louis was moving good...Get 45 miles into the deadhead, and, of course, they have a pickup in Washington, Mo, pickup by midnight, but ready now, going to Chrysler in Detroit...So I get there to the pickup...the parts are not even made yet!!! Gotta love it!!! And a terrible KFC dinner that generated a not so nice e-mail to KFC in Louisville...I need to win the lottery!! Calgon, take me away!!
