This thread has really made it possible to meet other EO members. It is GREAT!! A suggestion to make it work even BETTER!! Those of us who have CB radios in our trucks should tune them to channel 36 (36 equates to EO on your phone) when parked at truck stops. Then members could see if others were awake without the fear of waking them if shades were up. Just a thought.

That's a good idea.

Pilot @ I35w in Fort Worth Tx. Will be enjoying Wild Boar and Ostrich for lunch at Cabella's across the street if we don't get dispatched. Fun place to hang out if you like outdoor stuff.

Good evening from Miami! Yep, still here for the night. Took advantage of some free time today and bobtailed to my old stomping grounds as a kid. Fort Lauderdale Beach, FL. Spent a lot of time there swimming, sailing and fishing. Those were the good old days! You can bet seeing our big old house on wheels cruising up the the beach front on A1A was a sight to see! LOL Definately turned a lot of heads.

Below are photos the wife took out the window while we drove along the beach. First one a beach shot, two cargo ships waiting to enter Port Everglades, and finally the Goodyear Blimp flying low along the beach front.

Sunbury, OH

Had my oh no run yesterday 129 miler, took 20 hours........well maybe 18 hours....

ROFL We also had a Oh NO WAY run yesterday! Picked up a load in NC going to Wilmington WV. Get to the street the delivery address is on at about 01:30. Turn down the road (Spruce Street) take one looksey and  OMG NO WAY! lol There we sit on a very narrow street in the middle of Wilmington looking up the street at the most monstrous hill I have ever seen lined with fraternity houses and drunken college kids everywhere, and to beat it all these kid start betting on weather we will make it to the top or not! Smokin tomatoes, NO WAY! NOT DOING THAT ONE! Keith gets out of the truck and decides to walk up the hill and can barely climb it on two legs (let me tell ya, Keith is in good shape!) He gets to the top and right at the top we would have to take a right hand turn onto another extra narrow street and there sits a car right on the corner of the turn! NOT HAPPENING! NO WAY! lol So we have to call dispatch have the contractor meet us on the side of the road to take the pallet of doors we were carrying off the truck! First the contractor says "oh semi's go up that hill all the time"! OMG that was a whopper! Keith just smiled and told him, yeah the frat boys told us how they watch cars trying to get up that hill, stall out and roll backwards down it and how they started taking bets as soon as they saw us round the corner. contractor got kind of sheepish and started laughing as he and his workers removed the doors and put them on 4-wheel drive trucks to take them up the hill to the frat house they were renovating. LOL
Now for today we are sitting at the J in Kirkersville, OH.
