Bristol TN, relaxing with my "redneck friends" at the track, no freight, just NASCAR till Monday. Might drive to Atlanta tomorrow just to feel like I got my miles in this week.

A load going to the track......cool. If you are going into the track for the delivery, remember you gotta go in off of 394. The front gate on 11E is all blocked off.

SHOPPING? YUCK!!!!!! I sure hope that buys you six months worth of "atta boys"!!!! LOL!!! I think that I would rather stick a hot sharp stick in my left eye than go shopping!!

lets see, we left or friends house in Sugar tree ridge on sunday. Dropped monday in Kokomo, got a short one to Detroit, dropped and went home. Tuesday we got a shorty to Laffayette, pre- dispatched on a load to Peoria, dropped that. Then got one yesterday from Chicago to Altavista, VA. Just dropped that one. Waiting around here to see if anything falls from the load tree from the Roanoke area. If not then we'll find somewhere else to go to.
Dan, Crappy situation with the tire. Do you think you'll make it to Toledo on it or can you just have it repaired at a tire shop locally?

delivered in franklin ga...got a hotel rm in newnan ga....have a pickup in columbiana ala in the morning and deliver in dublin va monday am.....
It would be a BIT better but I rarely even do that. I normally just go in, get the one or two things I need and get right out. I HATE stores!! Even more so since I worked in them for a while.

I'm still at home ..... been here since the 10th (OOS) ..... the land clearing crew came out today to clear trees for the pad and the road back thru the woods for a gas storage well that the gas company is putting in. The clearing crew was supposed to be finished today .... but they are only about 50% done .... they should be able to finish up tomorrow if the rain holds off.
The guys building the road and the pad were supposed to be here tomorrow with the trackhoe and dozer ..... dunno if they will be out or not ....... if it keeps raining probably not ....
Interesting to watch them work clearing the land .... three guys: one cutting the trees down, another tending the chipper - a Brush Bandit whole tree chipper (<--- click for pic) that will do up to 19" diameter logs, and the crew foreman running a Bobcat S300 skidsteer with a grapple bucket, feeding the tops into the chipper and stacking the butt end logs. Amazing the amount of havoc and destruction one can wreck with the right tools .....
I now have about 6 truckloads of wood chips sitting over in the field ... we'll probably never have to buy mulch again .....

Yep.Awesome, isnt it? At least I had the time to do alot of yardwork.
@ Home.. 48 degrees..clear sky, sunny...you guys can have that back east humidity...
Gonna cut some grass for a bit and empty out my rolling ashtray tray and flush the inside with a hose and wipe down the interior and then oil change...

just talked to the consignee for my VA. monday delivery, they will unload me tommorrow if i am there at 7 am...they will have a guy there...bye bye....i'll be thetre by 7 pm tonight....
