We were in the Moriarity, NM TA on Wednesday night. It was nice and cool out. Slept without idling.
Got a relocate on Thursday to Dallas. Arrived at Midnight. Did not get a load on Friday so checked into a hotel with a pool and great AC. It's 103 degrees outside. Think I'll stay inside as long as I can then make my way to the pool.:D
This is like being home with no grass to mow.

Hey, we were in Virginia Beach all day today. We rented a car and drove in from Ashland.
Just got back around 8:30 tonight.
It was a great day as the Mrs and I celebrate our 29th
Anniversary:).
Hope you and your better half enjoyed the beautiful day.
We pick up a little north of here Monday for a short run to
Columbus OH.

My 50# load cancelled going to tyler....boooo-hooooooooooo!!!!!!!! At least I got the tires balanced and rotated, along with the oil change done today...lol.

Was that your 1300 mile load that cancelled? Load cancellations are terrible but it has happened to all of us a time, or two, or three.

I hope the load gods line up another run for you by monday!!

Yes, it was.It happens, nothing we can do about it, maybe it will come back up on Sun or Mon.But it did give me a chance to watch Saturday night Fever tonight..A blast from my past of my old days.

29 years together is a major accomplishment in any marriage,as far as I am concerned.It is a fine example of having trust, communication and true love that will make any marriage last that long and so much longer.That is something to be very proud of.Congratulations, to the both of you.

Sittin here in Ohio waiting to leave tomorrow. Taking the truck to deliver to a skyscraper in NYC. I sure hope that they will have some way of offloading a straight truck there. I'm gonna try and squeeze into town late sunday night early monday morning before the rush hits.

This week I took a load from Indy to Nogales AZ and then from Nogalez back to Detroit. About 3800 loaded miles with only 58 miles of deadhead all week. It sure would nice to have those kinds of weeks everyweek!

i am empty just 1 and half ago west of alberquerque.
if/when i dead out it will be to my honey whole el paso.
it paid pretty decent.
