Got mine signed up for last week before leaving home . Original email wouldn't let me fill out correctly.
Angie had to resend it and I had to persuade my phone to let me sign it. I always had it till I signed on at L 1 then it let me Option out . So no biggy, I am on the Retirement Exit ramp anyways..

If I was at all busy I doubt I would care, but considering how slow/cheap it is right now the message is pretty tone deaf, and the rate quoted is ridiculous. That exit ramp may get a bit crowded ntime!
I’ve always had it. Was way cheaper than getting it on my own. So it has never bothered me to pay $31/wk. When i was with Landstar it was like $99/wk for each of my drivers. One to consider too is what state the trucking company is in. Michigan is pretty much middle of the road. Now if you have a trucking business is NC then expect to pay top dollar.

Asking for a friend:

Anybody hear anything about some western states requiring a van to buy a trip permit to travel in or through. Supposed to be new? I read that AZ does only over 12,000#

Anything over 6000 lbs by law needs either a trip or 30 day permit to enter Arizona. I have never heard of them enforcing it for a van but it’s on the books.

Now that’s only if your vehicle is registered as commercial, if you have regular plates you will either get away with it or have more tickets to pay......
