I met Linda at a gig I was playing in Nelson Ledges. That was over 27 years ago.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, TJ, but I really think the odds of finding a soulmate while on the road are approximately the same as winning the big lottery jackpot. You just don't get to spend enough time with anyone for a relationship to develop, unless it's online & by phone, but then, when do you get to be together?

. i agree....... I met a really nice truck driver over the summer....
we have a lot in common and enjoy conversation..... but since we met in ahh hmmm JUly i think it was.. we only crossed paths 2x .. sooo for the most part we do keep each other company on the cell.... good thing we both have verizons.... lol

My husband and I married when he was 22 and I was 24. Been married every since and have no plans to change anything. He is and always will be my one love, my best friend and my soul mate. I was lucky enough to choose the best the first time around and there will never be another for me.
We met at the Contessa Restaurant in Skokie IL. Awesome greek restaurant that had the best greek chicken. Mmmm my mouth still waters when I think of that chicken even after all these years.

I met my Wife Years ago when I was Hauling Hazmat for Dart. We Always had a X-Mas Party and her Dad who was also a Driver asked me If I would take his Daughter to it Sight Unseen. Now I'm Thinkin That for her Dad to ask me to Take her, even if I have Never seen her then she must be some Ugly Skank But I Reluctantly Agreed. Wow, Was I Wrong Cuz she was Drop Dead Gorgeous, We Ended up Dating for a While then I Had the Bright Idea of Marriage (Which I Swore Off Before I Met her). We Got Married 2-years Later and she was and Still is the Love of My Life Even Though She Passed Away 5-1/2 Years ago! Really Miss That Woman!!
