Hello all. We are currently on a run to Nogales Arizona. 2160 paid miles. This is my first run out this direction as an expediter. I was wondering if much ex frieght leaves AZ or, maybe a suggestion on a good place to d/h to. Any help would be great.

Con-Way had several customers out there and we got out routinely from there.

Northrup Grumman is out there-Yuma area
Motorola is out there-Tuscon area
Harley Davidson-Tempe area-

In addition, our NLM department also got several auto loads out routinely right in the area you are dropping at. We stayed at the junction of interstate 19 and 10 if not dispatched out of Nogales right away. (but bare in mind I have no idea where Panther would lay you over.)

Based on very limited experience Nogales is Nobueno. El Paso has been the launch point for follow ups. I hear some have good luck out of Kalifornia but I really don't want to cross that line if there's any other option.

I'm with you Leo, Cali is a last resort. I kinda figured there would be something coming from Mexico through there, but hearign that CWE did okay there, maybe our good luck streak will hold out.

We were in Nogales a couple months ago. Emptied out and the QC tried to reposition us to Austin TX over 900 miles for nothing. Was'nt 30 minutes after we said NO that we had a load picking up there going near Chicago.

Good Luck....maybe something will come your way!!

When I was with FECC I got a load from Phoenix on a Sunday and the next time I sat for 4 days. So, like they said, it's a crap shoot. GOOD LUCK !

Well, so far, I think we'll just play it by ear. Drop the freight, and wait for further instructions at the nearest idleaire facility. I'll give it 24 hours and then start looking for a place to head to.
