Been stuck in Miami for 3 days now. If we don't get a load offer in the next 8 hours, the truck sat the entire day and no one would no whether we are striking or not! At least the weather is great here!

I got a call from Dispatch this morning right after I dropped asking if I was "going to be participating in the fuel protest" today. I just kinda laughed and said "No - but I will be unavailable until around 15:00 because I need to get some sleep."

She said "Ok, thanks - we will know to keep looking for loads for ya then." You bet.

I have no problem with anyone who wants to "strike" or shutdown - just don't try to enforce it on me. At that point I'm no longer on your side - I'm on mine.

I would shut down for a strike in a heartbeat, if I thought it would do any good. It won't.

Are you aware that the government collects more in tax revenue from each gallon of fuel sold at the pump than the oil companies make in net profit? Biggest April Fools
Day joke ever is the US Senate grilling oil company executives over the obscene profits, while the US Government is actually making more on the oil than the oil companies are. Too funny.
