Well, first I'm a conservative but not a republican or democrat. Second, anyone that gets offended by a euphemism to the point of dwelling on it for days needs to get a better grip, maybe taking hold of their own donkey with both hands and giving it a good squeeze or even a major slap or two as a reminder when talking about the donkey we're talking about the ***, backside, behind, buns, butt, buttocks, cheeks, derriere, fanny, gluteus maximus, heinie, keister, posterior, seat and I'm sure others not included in the list. Special note should be made of the first word in the list, ***, the reason for using donkey in the first place. Any negative or derogatory images or usage are strictly on the part of and in the mind of others. Shame on them, not me.

Some inject their own interruptation of what you meant...are they in your mind?.....

I read them, which I understand your point and agree with them. This is your website and you have rules that needs to be followed by all, even the Moderators. EO has customers that support the website along with the Expedite Expo. As a person that is of the Republican party just like LEO is, I feel that some of the post's Leo has posted have be way out of line as a Moderator that represents Expediters Online and Ontime Media. The post with the Donkey could have been handled in a different way and his actions reflect on EO and Ontime Media because he is a Moderator. As a small paying customer that place's advertisements every other month with Ontime Media I feel that for the good of Expediters Online and Ontime Media that the post should be removed because it offended me and others.

Leo may have not meant it too, but it did. I'm not trying to tell you how to run your website in any way. It's just I have seen you work really hard over the last eighteen years to take EO where it is today. The reason I posted this here wasn't to start drama or a backlash against LEO or EO. It was so people know that you are a caring person and will listen to what your members and small customers have to say.

We have more important things to worry about than Drama on EO. We need to be praying for Jack Berry and his wife during this hard time in their life's.

I said I was offended by the post at first, but Leo Explained what he meant. As Moderators and the Admin of this site Dale, Ken, Ken, Leo, Joe, Linda and Dave you are held to a higher standard than the members of this forum. I think Dave, Linda do a great job as they don't keep the drama going. As for all the other Moderators I think that the chip needs to come off your shoulders because your no better than anyone on this site.

I tell it like I see it. You have OVM going to another site staying that advertisers on this site could give a rats behind on what is posted in the SoapBox. If that was the case then why was Doug and Steward and all the others banned? Because they do care about what is said just like I do care what is said. Now I like Ken and he is a nice guy but as a Moderator doing that, it doesn't look good for EO or Ontime Media. In the past I had my fair share of bashing people or carriers too. But as our business grows I can see why Lawrence does what he does. As a fleet owner that hires teams, I lost the chance to hire a husband and wife team out of Texas because of the Donkey post that was made. They took it the same way as I did at first. They told me that they didn't want to come to work for someone that supports and advertises on a raciest website. I was shocked and upset because I know that is not the case. It was a real wake up call for me as to how people may take a post on EO.

Anyway, this horse has been thoroughly beat too.... Im not changing my mods. No one's perfect, but overall we have a good balance. Someone will alwayz be offended by something one or more mods say....sometimes it's ME!

Nobody is asking you to change your Moderators, just the way they come at people and what they say. And to say "Wow... seems kind of a stretch there" is like your saying I'm lying. Maybe I'm taking that wrong too.

The problem is when you decide there is one specific meaning to something that can have more than one meaning. I've already explained for those incapable of understanding that donkey can mean the three letter word for one's rear end. I even supplied a long list of optional words earlier. I'm through with it now because there wasn't anything wrong with it at any point along the line, only with some of those who read it. I hope they can grow enough and mature enough to comprehend at some point.

I know you wasn't referring to me in this statement? Saying crap like is what upsets members Leo. Was that really called for? No, it wasn't your just adding more fuel to the fire. "apparently".. some people thought he meant it as mexicans riding a donkey, which apparently is racist... I guess they mean it like if you talk about watermelon, or hillbillies with 2 front teeth, etc... sheesh. Well, they thought he did, then realized he didn't mean it that way, but then decided maybe he really did, or not... but some took it that way..

Anyway, horse beat, thread locked.
