Are things picking up over there where you are?

It seems for the past couple of weeks, postings have slimmed down somewhat.. I'm going to be an *ss and assume this means things are getting busier over there?

I don't think the same seems to be true on this side of the line.. have spoken to a few companies this week who have been quite slow for the past couple of weeks.

Oh, and I passed by a FECC truck in Burlington (Ontario) today, parked at the fringe of a plaza parking lot across the street from Costco.. would that have been anyone from EO Land?

We've been fairly busy since the beginning of the year. Last week was the first week we've done any real sitting for any length of time (3 days) in Minnesota. For the most part it's been sitting long enough to recharge and go again. Keeping our fingers crossed that it continues

It isn't quite as frantic as last year, but it has been pretty steady.

I wish that weekends would be more busy. Sitting after a load on Friday means that your going to be there for the weekend. If your lucky you will catch a load early on Friday that delivers on Sat. Most of the time it's pick up and wait a day or two before driving. I guess it's worth the wait for the team because they pick up a 800 mile run from Georgia to Michigan. The fuel surcharge is very good at .60 cents a mile.

ive only been stuck twice this year,once in california,and this past week at home.in both cases i was offered loads,just none i cared to do,so i cant say it is slow.my run count is the same as last year,if that is a sign of anything

Sitting at home a month now with my sick wife. Put the truck in the shop a week ago and getting a new motor . Stayed in service to see load offers and only had a few last week. Of course I live in Phoenix so that's an indication of NOTHING. Gladly accepting donations for motor work, lol...

Wally, things are picking up. We have just finished a very good week and wil be out of hours once we deliver in the morning. The past three weeks have been good also. We have had the pleasure of doing business with the carrier group on three occaisions. Best wishes to you and your wife.
