The oil filter has an anti drain back feature built into it. The punch is an idea I had not thought of. Might give it a try to see how long it takes the filter to drain. Punch or paper towel? Whichever best avoids a mess and gets the job done in a reasonable amount of time.

I just purchased an almost new Pony Pack.[pennies on the dollar] The things only got 120 hours. I had to mount the unit, as I wasn't about to carry the thing aound in my box. Took a couple of hours, but i've got it mounted on passenger side, just behind the sleeper.

I've got no manual and no switches.

I'm looking for an installer who's got the experience to finish up the connections. And, might have the switches.

Any ideas ??

The way I found my installer was through Pony Pack themselves. They keep a list of places with experience. I called around and ended up picking the closest one to my home. You will be visiting the installer several times so pick one conveniently close. Good luck.

on kubota engines on gen set, toget work on when no , genset dealer is around you have go to industy kubota dealer as they will be able to work on

this is what i found out when i had my 2 proheat's
also if you have any problems with any genset's give bill more a call tsi in north jackson , he is able to work on most any thing if he can't he will tell you so and also tell ya where to go

engine on genset is same one they put on alot of kubota tractors but they are just alittle different
doesn't make much sense to me

You're right, that will teach me to try and read those numbers at my age w/o glasses. Installed on or about Jan.06, actual hrs 2616. I'm not going to count the # of days that is, but I only use it when I need to; except those times I forget to turn it off and take off down the road . I did speak to a Landstar Ranger driver recently who told me his unit had 44,000 hrs; what do you think, am I gullible(SP) or what. Sorry if my #'s caused anyone to buy a Rigmaster and now you are unhappy..

I can relate to Phil's oil issue. I just change the oil on my Onan for the first time and was amazed with the amount of oil that started flowing out of the filter as soon as I started to remove it. Glad I had a rag to catch the mess. It was not expected by any means. We purchased this truck/unit last spring and always have had the generator serviced by Onan dealer or Freightliner when we had truck serviced. There currently are 3740 hrs on unit. It is used to operate the reefer as well as the sleeper. Not sure the model but know it is 12.5 KW. I recall noticing after having it serviced once that there was oil on the outside of the unit, never on the ground, checked oil level and was good. Now that I have performed the oil change myself I believe that oil was spilled during service.
