Heck I my bed check comes somewhere between 10/11 am with the questions where are you and how many hours do you have avaible, followed by OK I'll let them know and they will start looking for freight.. Even if I haven't had a load for 2 days..

Yep.... Office manager ( contact person ) set up shipment Late Friday... prepared NO paperwork and told NO one of this expedite load.... Here is where it gets good.... HE IS ON VACATION this week... and freight ready at 7 am ... now loaded at 10.30 am .....Lol

Now that I can run solid until the 24th, I wait all day for a load. No loads? How can there be no loads out of Chicago on a Monday? I am beginning to think my carrier isn't looking hard enough...and doesn't have enough relationships.

Plenty of loads but even more vans. I'm sure for the right price they could have got something but that doesn't mean it would be worth doing.

Lol....You can have my share... I do Not like picking up freight in that area.... I will deliver into the Chicago area but DH north or south for best luck on loads ... when sitting inside Chicago you are competing against all the locals as well as expeditors....
