We get our bacon, well all our meat from a slaughterhouse in Zanesville, the name slips my mind right now??Just had a conversation about this. Bacon lately, is like it's injected with bacon, and soaked in salt and sugar. I'm used to grease in the pan, that can be used to fry eggs in. The crap you usually get now... the salt/sugar goop... sticks to the bottom of the pan, and you can't fry eggs until you wash it.
Got some peppered bacon from Nino Salvaggios in Troy. No residue, mild tasting without the extra additives. I love the pieces covered with peppercorns. OH YEAH . The bits in the pan give the eggs a nice bacony extra. Nino's is the shiznit.
Yeah, that's the guy.Must be this guy that Ragman is talking about.
Yea somebody has to do it! I'll be back in service after the grandkids clear out.Yawn.....Oh well....Time to drive....a great(home) weekend is over.......
Happy Easter!....
Johnny trained for the Olympics here in Ft. Lauderdale. After his movie career (Tarzan, then Jungle Jim) he lived in a condo here. When he had too much "banana juice" in the evening, he would stand on his balcony and share his Tarzan yell with all the neighbors. I hear most of them did not appreciate it after the umpteenth time.Yeah, that's the guy.
