BORDENTOWN NJ PETRO THIS WEDNESDAY NIGHT.

We are currently on a CA to NJ multiple pick-up/multiple delivery run that will culminate near Bordentown Wednesday.

We always look forward to parking in the (FREE) front lot and meeting other expediters from different carriers. It is usually a full lot of mostly expediters.

Yes, The BordenTown Petro, Expediters row. That place can be fun, it is a mess in there too. This "J" on the norths side of Birmingham has cleaned up a good bit since I was here a month ago. Layoutshooter

Well no run came my way fri so I am still sittin at the "J" in Waddy Ky...was going to head to walton, but decided to stay here and hope for something come Monday.......how does the old song go, "come Monday, it'll be alright........", ok ill leave it at that...ill just figure on a load offer on Monday...........Thinkin of heading down to the "Cattlemans Steakhouse" at bit west of here for a nice dinner later............

The J in beautiful Clive, IA (West Des Moines) ...... good news is, there isn't another van/Sprinter within 120 miles ...... bad news is, this isn't exactly a hotbed for weekend freight .....

I've thought about it, still a little too chilly I think. A lot of low areas in the woods (noticed as driving by on the toll road) are really wet right now.

hmmm monee??? well .. im on i57 x 335 just south of chicagoland......at the Pilot.. was thinking of going acorss the street to the pilot for eats......but i hate eating a lone..... a lot of times. i get stuff to go and stay in my truck.. if i am gonna eat alone.. i miles well do it here watch tv..or a movie or play on the lap top.... ya know..but anyways.
i just say chicagoland cuz its easier to reconize..... i guess.

Mmmmmm..now i have a cast iron skillet here, a butane burners , Ill go get a head of fresh garlic and a stick or 2 of butter saut'e those morels and thats a good dinner, don't need anything else !!!

Sitting at the Flying J in Blacksburg,SC.....Never seen the parking lot so empty. and looks like I am the only expedite truck in the lot.

Had a U.S Express driver come over and talk to me while I was out side doing some painting on the truck and she was telling me how slow it was for them and was thinking about getting into expediting.tried to sell her a truck, guess I scared her away.

Just finished watching the Thunder Over Louisville....Even though we are sitting on the street, and had to catch glimpses of the airshow and fireworks around the buildings it was an awesome show. It's really cool that we got paid for it too!

I sat in the bar at the Cattleman Roadhouse for dinner and watched the Thunder over Louisville... Awesome is all I can say!! We do a 4th of july fireworks show in downtown toledo but it is nothing compared to what I seen from louisville...you you are ever in the area around derby time, try ans see it, it is well worth it!!

Oh and if you are spending the night in WADDY KY., stop of at exit 34 the Shelbyville exit off 64 and have a good steak at the Cattlemans, and the adult beverages aren't bad either.......
