After spending 5 days sitting in Kentuky, got a 100 mile DH 300 mile run to Fort Wayne. At home reflecting. For the year so far, all 1 skid loads except for a one 2 skid load in Feb. No 3 skid loads yet this year, not that I want them

They just called me with a load. One skid, too. Picks up tonight at 2100 going 820 miles to Buttcrackachobee, Alabama. So that's awesome. A week or two ago I noted that I'd much rather run some decent miles at 80 cents a mile than sit there running no miles at $1.50 mile. I had no idea they'd take me so literally. So that's awesome. Plus, they booked it at faster than 50 MPH, which only adds to the awesomeness. I'm so full of awe. Inspired.

Made it through orientation. Gonna grab a shower and do laundry tonight and go in service tomorrow. Sprinter freight is gonna pick up guys, and then you'll be begging for a day off....or complaining about it, I'm just not sure which yet.
Are you suggesting there will be begging at Load One? Surely you jest.

Sorry you feel that way. Freight is slow everywhere for vans/sprinters...just the nature of the beast. I'm not sure how signing me on is going to hurt things here for the rest of you, but I'm going to earn a living and that's that. Signing on somewhere won't fix the problem...I left my last carrier because they didn't give a **** about me; had nothing to do with freight. But, I suppose the grass is always greener somewhere else.

Delivered in MT Sterling, KY and dispatch already has me setup on a load from here, back up to MI. As far as the grass being greener somewhere else... that's never the case.

Oh we sure have! There was one time we were running so hard we delivered in dallas and went to a RV park. Pool hot tub NICE showers laundry. Paid 127 and took a week off. Had to go out of service to enjoy it lol.
But as Kurt said orientation is over. Were just waiting on a power of attorney to come thru and were ready to roll on!
