All we could really look at is our history. But that is not a really reliable number. You don't have a truck count to compare. For instance, we may have taken 25% more freight out of Wichita than OKC, but we may have had twice as many trucks there. So it is really hard to correlate like that. The other thing is freight volumes and areas seem to move almost weekly vs holding a trend for a month. My guess is they want to see how the calls and boards are shaping up this morning to try and have some real time data to look at.

Gotcha, thanks. The week thing makes sense.

Isn't there a way to find out ALL loads coming out of an area, not just Load-1's? IMO, OKC and Wichita aren't the greatest freight zones, and knowing how many came out of where would be a good indicator of where to hang your hat.

Not that I am aware of. But again it really goes back to trucks vs loads, instead of just loads?

Quick stop off at the doctors office. Strange thing. They monitor my blood pressure ever 3 months. Seems strange considering my relaxing occupation :)

Doctor did ask a number of questions. Strange one was when he asked if OVM was still leased on before taking my blood pressure....

Never trust the board when in the yard. All the local units and Canadian units distort it. We were out of long haul sprinters early yesterday.

32,000 feet and watching the boards. Seems like volume has started to drop back the last two weeks. Interesting to see how the second quarter will do. First quarter volumes were way up over last year, but hard to tell how much was weather related. Always interesting this business.
