Dropped in Wichita earlier this afternoon. Last 300 miles was interesting. Winds are at 30 mph gusting to 45. Arms are sore from keeping the truck on the road. Now they've issued a tornado watch. :(

Keeping an eye out for Toto.

Well Dennis they said it wasn't a catalytic converter problem said couldn't find anything wrong with it but noted some doser valve what ever that is was disconnected and bad and shorting out. They installed a metering valve and exhaust pipe they done a manual regen. Said that its all connected to the def system and was causing all the problems. Also fixed the alternater. Runs good def light is still on and they said should go off in 75 miles. But no codes are showing up and engine sounds a little better while accelerating

gotta go get the truck this morning from the shop. pot hole we hit a month a go knocked the tow and the rear out of alignment although you could not tell it by the way it was driving. but as a result it ruined a perfectly good steer tire. so, new steers, new shocks, two axle alignment and the a/c system serviced and the old girl is back in shape.

speaking of old girl, hope she doesnt read this. today is the black rose birthday for my lovely wife. she is turning 25 for the second time. so, happy birthday tina and thanks load one for the pretty bday card. supper out tonight, bbq. then back to the house for some cake. anyone in the area or passing by please come join us if you have time. dale if you dont get out today you are awfully close and we have a spare bed and a good shower and cake !!!

well, shower time and hopefully the rain will quit. been nasty here this morning. everyone be safe and enjoy your weekend.

oh, juju. pickles are great as expected and the green salsa is awfully good also. now, for those darn pickled beets. LOL thanks, you two !!!!
