Sitting at the TA at exit 30 on I-80 in WY. The road is closed east of here for about 150 miles. High winds and blowing snow. Roads are snow covered and icy. What fun!!

2een there/done that... 2 days ago...was HELL...survived it...some how...more or less...was extremely dangerous...don't be the first to hit the roads once they open it up...
well at least you can see in the horizon all those windmills ...knowing that your taxes payed for them...O'h the gift that keep on giving...
Soo.. it's going to be a burgerKing for lunch? (don't try the buffet...)
O'h and how on earth do you have an internet signal up there?

NO BK for me. Mrs. Layoutshooter is sleeping and I have to remain in the truck or wake her up. That is NOT a good idea!!! LOL!!!

I-80 in WY closure now extended from exit 18 to 187. High winds, blowing snow, icy and snow covered roads. It is NOT getting better, it is getting worse.

well normally i would say call when you get to the mke outskirts, and i will buy coffee at petro, but that will be waaay before i want to get up if still home

Sure wish I could, but I can't. This load requires "babysitting". One of us has to remain awake, on duty, not driving and within 25' of the truck at all times. "sigh" A nap would be nice. All this sitting around is making me sleepy. At least Mrs. Layoutshooter is sleeping well. No road noise etc.

i know your are dedicated, but you are in the middle of a storm the roads are closed....who is going to know if you grab 40 winks?
