Early this morning I was driving down Main Street in my small town of 20,000. As I am enroute to our post office to mail the sports page to my son in Parris Island, I notice a large gathering of people on the court house lawn. They are smiling, waving placards and someone is speaking through a megaphone.
Having caught a few minutes of the Glenn Beck Show last night, I remembered the "tea parties" were scheduled to be held today. Right there on the court house lawn, in the shadow of a monument erected to honor our Confederate soldiers, was a peaceful reminder that our federal government has once again grown to be an arrogant bully. They, the Feds, never learn.
