I did just the opposite.I got off all of my meds by reverting back to what people did in the old days before we had drugs to fix what was wrong with us.The only thing i take now is a tylenol once in a while for a headache.

You would be surprised what some all natural things can do for health. My father was taking injections for bone disease and had to have a bone density test every 6 months well since he started taking some all natural stuff for (6 months) the doctor took him off his meds and his bone density test came back this time in the normal range first time in 10 years.Think about what people used for meds before we had pharmacetical companies. The average doctor in the US only lives to the age of 55.The average person in Tibet lives to 75-85 years old and they dont have the pharmaceticals like we do and they live off the land.

I can direct to what i have tried and its backed by lots of university studies and doctors. If anyone is intersted pm me.I will tell you that you have nothing to loose in trying it.They offer 90 day money back gurantee on there products.

I don't know where this statistic comes from but I do know my dad is far far above average. I've known he's one of THE best doctors anywhere since childhood. The number of other doctors who would call him to discuss cases, up to and including Dr. Denton Cooley, was one good indicator. Based on the above, the fact he was 81 on his last birthday appears to be another.

You can take this for what it´s worth. I had high blood pressure for years, and maybe it was high for years before I found out it was high, as I didn´t go to visit the doctor very often. Anyway, when I found out it was high (stayed in the range of 150/100), I was treated over several years with a bunch of different pills, from several different doctors, all attempting to lower my BP. None of them worked, some of them bothered me alot with the side effects, and my BP stayed pretty much the same. Then I finally went to a doctor, who combined my BP pill with a diuretic. Haven´t had BP for over 3 years. Stays around 120/8, no matter what I do. I was not overweight when I found out I had high BP. Not all pills work for all people, but it may be worth it to some of you out there to ask your doc about the addition of a diuretic to your med. You never know. Hope this helps somebody or many.

Just to throw my two cents in here...I seem to hear some people mention ways to keep your BP down "during" your physical, IE; what to do just before to get a qualifying reading. Perhaps I'm wrong here, but, isn't the idea to keep your pressure under a certain reading at "all" times to prevent health risks? I mean, again, isn't it the spiking of your blood pressure that causes strokes? I mean, stress and weight and sleep all effect blood pressure, but i thought that was the purpose of taking the meds, to keep your BP under these elevated levels for long periods of time and to keep it from spiking. I'm not trying to sound preachy...it just seems like trying to cheat on an exam when you really don't know or understand the material. You may get a passing grade, but, its a high price to pay when your children or some nurse has to take care of you after your stroke.

That's why I bought a monitor with software to keep a daily record . It seems it takes more accurate readings on the right arm but it has you put the cuff on the right arm opposite the way you do on the left . On the left arm they have you line up a blue line with your middle finger . On the right arm they have this line turned halfway around your arm . In the catalog ad it said "This model came within 1.25% of one of the registered nurse's readings. And how many readings did they take and what were the other percentages . But thanks for all the help . BP today was 124/76 and has been staying close to that . Now as far as doctors around here go , they aren't dying , just quitting practice and being replaced by Indians ( not medicine men , from India ) Most appointments and practice are handled by nurse practitioners .

Darn I missed most of what the Dr. said because a run offer came in. I did hear him mention that using those energy drinks can really raise blood pressure.
