Sitting for over 4 days....Yes I know it was Easter weekend but we are talking about a team on with the FED fully equipped straight truck with lift gate/tag axle/pallet jack/reefer the whole nine yards.

Over 100 hours of dwell time and in Illinois of all places. Yesterday several low ball offers and 1 fair offer that in hindsight wish had taken.

What gives??

Thought FDCC was the leader in expedite industry and Illinois the busiest area in country for expedite freight...Not even 1 single surface or WG load opportunity today as of 1:30 pm eastern, this is pathetic.

Been there, done that. Done it in the past, will do it again in the future. Same carrier and type of truck. Sucks when it happens but it's nothing new. Next week you will run out of hours.

but then again there are those times, where you just can't keep up with how much freight there is..and you end up turning down some, which later during famine times, you regret turning that last one down...

That's why on Friday morning we accepted a Monday load. We really wanted a load for the weekend but knew it would be hard to come by with Good Friday & Easter.

Sometimes it gets to ya,don't let it,when you least expect it,bam, you will be on a good run. That's the fun in expediting. Shoot you may be gone already.

Calm down, everyone. Your carrier isn't avoiding you. We're certainly in a lull in the market right now but it seems to be across the board. From what I've heard there's not many out there not playing a bunch of Solitaire.
Or XBox.
Or watching movies.
Or sleeping 20 hours a day.
Me? You wouldn't believe how many honey dos I've gotten done in the last several days.
Bob Vila would be proud!!
