These are the children... of the children of the 60s.

That, and the fact they living in a bubble. They are isolated in heavy population centers, and are clueless of anything outside of that environment, Everyone they come in contact with on a daily basis has pretty much the same thoughts, feelings, outlook and values as they do. And it's reinforced by the media which is located in the same population centers, as well as the echo chambered bubble of social media where they follow and interact with people they agree with, and unfriend the rest.

I don't really want to get into the similarities between liberals and children, other than to say one of those groups spends their daily lives existing on instant gratification and getting everything they want... and the more badly they want something, the more they feel justified in having it... and when they don't get what they want they get mad and throw a tantrum because whatever it is isn't fair, and they are shocked, literally, when they find themselves not at the center of someone else's universe. I leave it to you to determine which group I'm talking about.

Don't leave out the influence of our vastly overpriced colleges and universities which take in the spoiled brats from our public high schools and further their liberal, entitlement-based indoctrination. Actual liberal education (in the traditional sense) is no longer the objective. Mastery of subject matter is so diluted that any grade below "B" is regarded as failure. Bernie was probably on to something when he formulated his "free college" proposal; if colleges and universities continue on their present course they will no longer be practical or affordable for the average student from a middle class family. Higher education should just become an extension of publicly funded high schools. Trade schools will become the norm, where students learn useful skills rather than spend $100K and 4-6 years learning socialist dogma that teaches them how to live off the govt teat. The changes the country must make to reverse these trends is subject matter for another thread.

It is time for people to grow up the election is over trump won they need to get over it an the burning of the American flag I think if u are caught burning it u should be deported out of the U.S. We have brothers an sisters who have lost there lives fighting for that flag an then ppl burn it stomp it etc. that is so disrespectful to our troops if they don't like the results of the election go to another country. I personally love the change our country needs it we need unity it is time for ppl to quit crying about it an everyone get along.

Heard on the boob tube that 70 something % of protesters eather didn't vote,or where to young to vote in Oregon.

It must be pretty scary for them. Growing up under Obama, it's all many of them know. How will they survive without him. Will they lose there Obama phones? If jobs are created, will they really be expected to get one? Will the handouts end? Will they have to be responsible for themselves?

Sadly this is half sarcastic, half serious

Trigger Alert: language!

Nicole Arbour, age 31, is from Hamilton, Ontario. She is a comedian, and an actress, choreographer, dancer, musician, singer, and a writer. She was a cheerleader for the Toronto Raptors NBA team. She has two college degrees (business, political science). She is probably best known for her "Dear Fat People" YouTube satire video that had over 100 million views, because it pissed off pretty much everyone who is offended by everything. The video above is a Periscope broadcast (that's a thing), and it's brilliant.

The "Obama" phones was never about helping the poor, it was about billionaires relocating taxpayers money into their pockets.

Copied from Fox News headlines....
Teddy bears, Play-Doh and coloring books are staples of nursery schools, but now they are showing up on college campuses to help distraught students cope with the election of a president they don’t like.

Around the nation, students are turning to the tools of toddlers as a bizarre form of therapy in the wake of Donald Trump's election last week. Colleges and universities are encouraging students to cry, cuddle with puppies and sip hot chocolate to soothe their fragile psyches, an approach some critics say would be funny if it weren't so alarming.

“This is an extreme reaction from millennials who are being forced to come to terms with the fact that we have a president that they don’t like –this is what losing feels like,” Kristin Tate, the 24-year-old author of "Government Gone Wild," told FoxNews.com. “We are grooming our students to be sensitive crybabies when we need to be showing students how to deal with world situations and how to be adults –there are no ‘safe spaces’ in the real world.”

Except their kids are teachers now, and their grandkids are the students balled up in a fetal position hugging a teddy bear in History class.

A have faith that the next generation will rebel in kind and become badasses.

Perhaps, only time will tell.

But to label the entire generation a lost cause because of the antics of a few is unfair.
