Man Burns Down Trailer in Online Feud

"A Navy man who got mad when someone mocked him as a "nerd" over the Internet climbed into his car and drove 1,300 miles from Virginia to Texas to teach the other guy a lesson.

As he made his way toward Texas, Fire Controlman 2nd Class Petty Officer Russell Tavares posted photos online showing the welcome signs at several states' borders, as if to prove to his Internet friends that he meant business.

When he finally arrived, Tavares burned the guy's trailer down."

I think that shows the lengths some will go to to not be 'dissed.' It dates back to the street gangs and has now found its place on the internet. If the guy that burned the trailer actually foun out who the guy was before he took off, then he's a moron. But all the evidence shows that he did it that way. But either way, there are only a select few that know who I am off the internet. And no, one of them is not Al Gore.

This specific story, which happened a while back and the idiot got sentence this past week, has a lot more back story to it with these two people than what was reported in the press anywhere.

I would not draw many conclusions from such a story. It is far easier to find a story about children that killed their parents than it is to find internet rage stories like this. Does that mean that people should not have kids because of the risk that your children may one day murder you?

Phil,
I agree with you 1000%

But as for your question "Does that mean that people should not have kids because of the risk that your children may one day murder you?"

I would say that in some cases, yes!
