Barbecue, swim, many cold ones, and had a good time with quite a few folks.

Dead headed to Montreal from Albany, took my bride out for dinner after chores were done.

Oh, and my wife showed Barry Melrose how to use the dryer to dry his undies at a laundromat in Hudson Falls, NY. As I proudly displayed my Sabres shirt, he appeared unimpressed as I told him to watch out for my boys next year.

Sad that so many dont know the reason for Memorial Day, or that we cant stop "life" to give it justice. I admit, we were traveling and didnt give it much thought. :(

I did a million chores for my mom, and BBQed some of the best Pork Tenderloins and Sweet potatoes on the grill, watched a Great Parade, and R-E-L-A-X-E-D

Sounds like some folks found a way to relax, and even have some good times. Beats the heck outta sitting for 70 hour re-set at the Jackson, GA TA.

Not the longest 3 days of my life, but in the top five.

Gone Fishing !!!
Wen't 'Up north to the cabin', like most Minnesotans did.
'we' have a resort with a 'Privet Lake' , it's huge.
2st day of fishing from the dock got us some nice 'Blue Gile's', then BBQe'd into the night.
then we went to the cabin, which is a 'privet forest on a hill', some 120 acres, & lots of ATV trails, had so much to do...
some 6 shot guns, 8 handguns and about 800 rounds later... we had a dear dinner...
& back to sleep in the resort...
next day we went back to the cabin to shoot some more, i did very well on the 'plates', with the shoot guns, but not so well with the handguns, the revolver was WAY too much of a gun for my small hands.
then we blow some explosives on the hill...big boom !
on the last day we went fishing on the lake, with a real fishing boat. 1st time for me, we kept 4 'northerns' at about 3,4 pounds a fish. then we cooked them.
FUN!
