I would think that teaming in a sprinter with a NON-family member (like a husband / wife or significant other) would create a situation that would continually mean new drivers on a regular basis..

Sure you can, but will it solve the problem? And if it doesn't [my guess], what will?

All E-1 will say to you is that they can't offer what they don't have. We've seen a drop since April, even in the straight truck realm. So has everyone I've spoken to. Now I am sure that some driver will pop on now and tell you how they've been running awesome for the last two weeks (yes, you can have better than average weeks), but for the most part, it's just not as good as the first quarter.

As you do not need to log, I would think that a solo in a sprinter would be happier than a team any day. The only loads you are really missing on are a few DoD loads that require constant supervision of the vehicle.

Trying to put a non same household team in a sprinter is a recipe for failure. I admire those husband and wife teams that are successful teams. It takes just the right chemistry to be a happy team in a small vehicle.

It does take the right husband & wife of bf/gf to live and work out of a cargo van/ Sprinter. Jenny and I have done it for over 3 years and even though it was a litte tough at first we just adressed the problems as they came along and always came up with a solution.

So that's what that dog house you're pulling is for... :D

Jenny makes him sleep in the back with the freight when he is in the dog house! lol. I wish me and my EX could have teamed in a van, we might still be together today if i'd have gotten her out on the road with me. But i'm not sure DOT would have allowed me to chain her to the bumper at night! J/K!

You guys crack me up. About the extent of my punishment when I make her mad is she won't talk to me for about an hour.

Yea so she won't talk to you for an hour!! BUT, I think i read a "Sticker" on your Sprinter that explains the "making up'....:D

My not talking to him lasts more like 5 minutes, before I go in the back, and draw some silly picture and give it to him, or a card out of our old tripak envelopes, or make some strange voice and talk to him.

I agree...it's real hard not to talk to your hubby in such a small home...and you can't always take a walk...the sprinter might be moving!:D
