I wish that the noise would stop. Nuthin good is going to come out of this.

We need a better system. NO NAMES! Just say that someone has been shot and someone is being questioned. NO PRETRIAL publicity. Then maybe our justice system would function just a little bit better.

Plenty of countries have it. But oh no you guys had to do it your own way... :p

I know. BUT, when I say that every right comes with an equal responsibility I am lambasted all over the forum. The 'right' to free speech is not a free for all. Those in the press who are mouthing off and being oh so righteous are doing far more harm to this Country that a Soviet artillery barrage would do.

To make matter worse, they are almost always one sided. Far more like Pravda and from the say political background.

Part of the problem is the 24/7 news cycle...they have to talk about something! The media always jumps in before the facts are known and we the "people" do the same thing. One thing is for certain, all this gabbin about it isn't going to solve the problem. It's a tragedy and my heart goes out to the families involved. The quickest way for justice to be served is if everyone not directly involved would just get out of the way!

Hoodie mania has reached the floors of Congress. Democratic Congressman Bobby Rush has been reprimanded for appearing in a hoodie and dark sunglasses while giving a speech from the well of the House of Representatives. Maybe we really are two nations.

I think when Al Sharpton is involved, everyone needs to be careful about jumping on that bandwagon.
