Amtrak & MDOT Expediting people @ 100 Mph

Wonder if a baggage or mail car will be attached. Wont take carriers long to figure this out for small packages. Wonder if we will see vans hanging around at trains stations soon. (Maybe its allready happening for all I know)
Cutting 2 hours off the trip.

picked up a load at the bus station not to long ago..

Just a lil note about what else will happen with trains traveling at 100 Mph.
Sorry for the lil safety class, I know we are all adults and should be aware of this already.
Please think about how far a derailment can be pushed off the tracks and into traffic waiting at the Xings..STAY BACK,,Way back. Dont hug the Xings..I have worked to many derailments, Even assited with getting a women and her 2 kids out from underneath a Locomotive in Downtown Plymouth Mich. and have even worked on the 2 Locomotives shown in the video below.
Below is a slow speed derailment and a good video..I dont even want to think about a 100Mph Derailment.

Nothing like ya tax dollars going for a project, then have to pay to use it!

Not sure,,I'm thinking ya may have answered your first Q in your second sentence

Just think of all the jobs this project wont create. Tax payers should be happy to help out.
