I threw a congrats at you guys in the sports forum yesterday.
I love to see the underdog get his due.
I met Broom in Lazianna, just pulled in and saw a C&M truck at the Pilot as we drove up to it we saw a Tigers ballcap on the dash, told Cynthia had to be Broom and sure enough!

Maglio Ordinioz. Came here in 96, tought himself how to speak English. Great story to tell, he was with the White Sox. Yes he hit a one shot HR in the 5th to tie it up and than the three run shot in the 9th with one out, two on.

I knew he was gona hommer, kept it to myself as to not JINXZ THEM...but serious I had a good feeling Maglio was gona get a hit but the hommer. Well let me just say the girls came down stairs to figure out what all the celebration was about. Now they will be forced to sit and WATCH every game with me while I am home since they interupted my celebration with looks of Dismay.....

PS I need someone to fill in for me if I get a run while the World Series is going on. Dispatch if your reading this NO RUNS AFTER THE THIRD GAME WHEN THE TIGERS ARE UP OR TIED.

Thanx to T-hawk??? What's that supposed to mean? Home teams aren't truly home teams. How many ppl on the Tigers are from Detroit? I always like to see the home teams do well... just they aren't my favorites (except the Pistons). I don't even care to watch baseball after the 95 strike. And that was after my team (the Jays) won two world series. Tho I love to see the Tigers doing well, honestly... how many gave a rat's arse about them till they started winning? Illitch wouldn't put a penny or a pound in to get that team going. It took an old Marlboro Man to get them motivated. And that's a great story in and of itself!

As far as a different sport... yep! 4-1, babeee... took it to the Rams in their own house. If I knew it would be that good a game, I would've turned down the load that brought me to NC, then dh to StLouis to watch the game! The wife wasn't too happy to hear that. LMAO
